Willow Preschool Program is funded for Fall 2016.

Interested parents need to fill out an online survey on the Mat Su School District Web Page matsuk12.us and follow the prompts to the survey. If anyone has problems finding the online survey please call Sue at 495-1784 for assistance.
The Willow Preschool Program is called “Widening the Net” Parents that register will be contacted by the district in mid August.

Notice Type: Firewood Harvest


Type: Permit (MSB003092) The Four Mile Road Personal Use Firewood Harvest Area will open July 27, 2016. This area is located in the Willow Area on Four Mile Road off of Willow Fishhook Road. Access and removal restrictions will be strictly enforced. This area is designated as personal use only for harvest of MSB forest resources.
A $25 permit is required and may be obtained from the Land & Resource Management Division between the hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. at the Mat-Su Borough Administration Building, located at 350 E. Dahlia Avenue, Palmer, and at the Willow Library. Please contact the Willow Library for hours of operation at (907) 861-7655.
The permit must be in your possession during the removal of wood. The cost per cord of wood is $25 with a maximum of TWO cords per household for this offering from the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. The permit will expire after all available wood has been removed but no later than August 14, 2016. Access roads will not be maintained by the Borough.
Please call the Land & Resource Management Division at 861-7869 prior to going in the permit area; and if you have any questions.
